An unimpressed visitor said this in a review "Penske Racing is very very overpriced and not much to see or do"
Technician 2 (Current Employee) says"No sense of teamwork and everyone is out for themselves. This used to be a good place to work but it has changed for the bad. You are treated like an inmate rather than a coworker. Direct supervisors are worthless and only care about their numbers. SteadyManagement is horrible frlm top to bottom"
Analyst (Former Employee) says"Low pay, benefits are expensive, leadership only cares about what clients think not employees, one of the worst companies I ever worked for. I would never want to work there again.a jobStress, poor treatment, no bonus, politics"
Technician (Current Employee) says"If I could give this company zero stars I would. The worst place I have ever worked. All they care about is passing blame downhill. The local HR lady is worthless and doesn't care to listen or take on any initiative as to the problems in the Phoenix district. She only cares about her management buddies. The management does nothing but beat you down till you become a YES man or woman. Not muchManagement"
Confidential (Former Employee) says"Poor & unorganized management. You are just a number & a work donkey. Will overload you with tasks that is for 4 or 5 people combined. Talked down to like a child. Say goodbye to time with family. Not one thing.Just name it."
Local Driver (Former Employee) says"Is not No Touch Freight but they don't tell you that. You back into the most jacked up places. Retaliation is part of their culture. I was made to feel unwelcome from the second I walked in and I did not think I had the job. I worked my butt off and did everything they asked me to do. I am a professional. But that did not matter. Quite an elaborate setup took place behind the scenes to get rid of me. But I resigned. I dictate the narrative not them. Sorry I did not read the warning posted by another here before I took the job. I would have been better prepared for what was to come. TRUST NO ONE HERE. They all care about only themselves and you have to figure things out for yourself. Training is a joke. Very cut-throat. You won't make friends here. Feels like I wasted my time since I wasn't wanted and didn't stay very long.trucks are fueled for youfeast or famine, no set daily work schedule-they call you daily, hostile work environment"
Branch Manager (Current Employee) says"Upper management within this company is your enemy. They do not try to cultivate and grow you. If you can teach yourself, you stand a chance of moving up a couple of positions, but that’s it. You have to be a brown noser to move beyond that. Hard work, dedication and loyalty are not rewarded. This is a “what have you done for me lately” culture. They will give you unobtainable goals and wonder why you cannot hit them even when internal documents will tell you they know the goals are unobtainable. Even when they know you have been set up for failure they will have you sign a Letter of Understanding that outlines even more ridiculous goals. This letter will lead to write ups and eventually firing. I’ve seen this technique lots of times for employees that are good productive people. I’ve been forced to use them on people that were productive for me. It is a hostile environment. Company carManagement, leadership"
Fueler/Washer/CSR (Current Employee) says"Company only cares about the dollar not employee or customer they cut corners during covid and took advantage of employee and bent all rules during covid 19 pandemicNothingEverything"
Receiving Lead (Former Employee) says"Good pay, but management is horrible. A bunch of people always being hired from outside who don’t know anything and fire you for no reason. So many good people got fired and they kept people who literally stands in front the camera doing nothing. This place is racist too, you fire a colored person because he accidentally hit a rack because of a stick on the floor and made a little bump on the rack and kept the white Pearson who put a whole in the trailer, took off a whole beam and damaged a camera? Smh"
Management Trainee (Former Employee) says"Management is horrible. No support from them at all. Your on your own. Horrible teaching by management. You have to basically learn on your own. No room to move up"
Assistant Rental Manager/Sales and Operations Management Trainee (Former Employee) says"Wasted 3 years of my life. Only friends and family of upper management get promoted. Pros: Relocation, work with great vendors/customers, and weekly pay to start Cons: Managers all just friends, hard work doesn’t matter, hostile work environment"
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) says"Use to love it here until another district took over, now we have lost 70% of our staff and they are not looking to bring more in. Bad management........."
Fueler (Former Employee) says"The employers & coworkers treat you worse than dirt at Penske. Do a bazillion things right, no one cares. Do one thing wrong, no one forgets. Watch your back, here."
Diesel Technician (Former Employee) says"This place is for people that never obtained and achieved any success in life. From management to the A kissing loser hikers wheel huggers. Be careful, the most innocent would backstab you without you even knowing it. Very unprofessional place, if you had an medical emergency and you discretely told your manager, he will immediately tell the whole crew your personal business, it’s disgraceful. Co-workers are opinionated about your personal life, if you go on vacation, they will make you feel guilty about going on vacation, making derogatory comments when you come back to work, in addition they will retaliate when you come back from vacation, overloading you with unpleasant tasks and projects. They play favorites as well. The list goes on and on and on...."
Truck Driver Class A (Former Employee) says"A company that is very poor leadership. Staff is very self centered. Staff only thinks about succeeding for the company not poor the drivers or employees. Staff only looks out for themselves well being not for there drivers. Cut throats overall"
Truck Driver Class A (Current Employee) says"In the 3 years that I've worked here, the work hours fluctuate due to peak seasons, probably not necessarily Penske's fault just the nature of the business, however, which leaves inconsistencies with my paychecks throughout the year. As for my fellow coworkers, it's less than desirable, because of the above mentioned, which leads to a hostile work environment; and that's putting it nicely. As for management, they like to lie about everything, such as pay, bonuses, assigned equipment and reimbursements. To add insult to injury, management loves to play favorites to try and cover up their insufficient management abilities which are non-existent. In all due honesty, I have nothing good to say about Penske Logistics at this location. You've been warned, proceed at your own risk!nothinghealthcare"
Forklift Operator (Former Employee) says"There managers do not care about you one bit. The fat manager lady is very sarcastic, not even in a funny way it's just cringe. The coworkers are not helpful at all, they tend to only talk within themselves, although they say that they need people and they like the help, in reality they don't. They don't train you in anything. They lack patience and charisma.f.u lenise"
Transportation Coordinator (Former Employee) says"They pilled work on you and didnt care how it got done just get it done. Managers over your shoulder all the time. Putting your mistakes out there in front of the whole team. Then when a family member was killed they fired menonnon"
Csr1 (Former Employee) says"This company dose not care about you to them your just a number and that’s all that counts is your skin color to get a promotion If you get on there bad side they hate you speak your mind they hate you manager are the worse at this company they treat you really bad they think there better then you if something happens with management and you the call the union they hold it agents you"
Forklift Operator (Former Employee) says"A company managed by delusional ,dictatorial out of touch bunch of amatuer mamagers .The company preaches safety while doing nothing to make it safer .Once you start your controlled and treated quite badly by this group of 'managers' who are the most idiotic dumb uninformed creatures that happen to run a company .Penske Logistics is an absolute nightmare ."
Diesel Technician (Current Employee) says"You will understand when you walk in the door door what I’m talking about. Poor pay , poor hours , management has NEVER turned a wrench before. Enjoy!"
